The Museum of Bus Transportation’s (MOBT) merger with the AACA Museum, Inc. creates a national showcase for bus history in North America. From its beginnings in 1994, the MOBT’s goal was to establish a first-class museum to preserve the heritage of the industry and educate the public about bus transportation’s contributions to American history.
In January of 2020, the MOBT merged into the AACA Museum, Inc., where the bus collection was on display in the Richard O. Ullman Family Foundation Gallery. At the museum, the historic bus fleet has grown to more than 50 buses, some more than 100 years old. A substantial portion of the fleet is on public display at any given time on nearly 6,000 square feet of dedicated exhibit space. Also, the AACA Museum, Inc. boasts a comprehensive graphic historic “timeline” of bus building in North America, perhaps the only one of its kind in the world, and a substantial collection of bus memorabilia.
The MOBT collection is the only preserved bus fleet open to the public nearly every day of the year. Each year the museum holds a Spring Fling on the museum grounds and attracts hundreds of bus enthusiasts and dozens of antique coaches from across the nation.
Your support preserves bus transportation heritage

In addition to the countless hours of dedicated volunteer work to display these treasures, it requires substantial financial support to restore, preserve, and exhibit them. The museum is a popular destination for car, truck, motorcycle, and bus buffs, and a great addition to any visit to the Hershey, PA area.
